Childbirth Education at Southwest Midwives
Classes are offered monthly, every Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm, starting the first Thursday of each month and goes for 4 weeks – zoom option always available.
- Week 1: Preparing the Mind and Body for Birth/Signs & Stages of Labor
- Week 2: Hospital Procedures, Comfort Measures & Pain Management
- Week 3: Labor & Delivery – Early Labor, Active Labor, Transition, and Birth!
- Week 4: Newborn Procedures, Postpartum, Bonding & Breastfeeding
Cost: $100/couple
Quarterly Classes at Pathways Pregnancy Resource Center (formerly Durango Pregnancy Center)
This class is offered each January, April, July, and October. Classes take place on three consecutive Mondays from 5-7pm, location TBD based on how many folks register. Note: this class does not include breastfeeding education.
Cost: FREE!
