As well as a birth doula, I am a Certified Lactation Counselor and cherished the time I spent nursing my 3 children.

Like many new mothers, I trudged down a path of sore nipples, second guessing, and lots of tears with my first baby. I lost count of the number of times I almost gave up…

As a CLC, my goal is to help mothers and their families navigate this path with support & solutions, finding the joy and fulfillment that they envisioned – remember, breastfeeding should not be painful!

Lactation Packages

(My doula clients will receive full lactation support as part of my birth doula services.)

Individual Lactation Counseling home visit $100, Virtual visit (Zoom or FaceTime) $60

Includes latch evaluation & guidance, baby weight gain and diaper output evaluation, nursing positions for comfort & optimal milk transfer, parent Q&A.

Package of 4 home visits – $350 (paced to your needs)/Package of 4 Virtual visits (Zoom or FaceTime) – $200

Includes latch evaluation & guidance, baby weight gain and diaper output evaluation, nursing positions for comfort & optimal milk transfer, support with breast problems (engorgement/mastitis/clogged ducts/etc), nighttime feeding & sleeping solutions, parent Q&A.

Despite being far away, Abbie was on call to give support where she could given the circumstances. After we finally returned home with our son, we worked with Abbie as a lactation consultant.
